Horses China arranges the entire export process to Asia after the purchase of a horse. This includes: the required blood tests, the necessary pre-export and post-entry quarantine, the export permits and health certificates, plus customs documentation. Export process
When exporting horses to China or other countries in Asia, we must comply with a strict procedure and government regulations. This way we can be sure that the horses lack nothing and that they are delivered to their destination in good health. Below is an overview of the steps to be taken in the export process:
1. Arrange import permit to China
2. First blood test of the horses (result within 1 week)
3. Horses go into quarantine in the Netherlands (32 days)
4. Second blood test (result within 1 week)
5. After quarantine a health certificate is issued
6. Horses fly to China
7. Horses go into quarantine in China (30 days)
8. After the quarantine period the process is complete
